As the official release date for the EP ‘Original Copy’ is fast approaching, famous Disc Jockey (Dj), musician and billionaire business magnet – Femi Otedola‘s daughter, DJ Cuppy has cried out and lamented over the reluctant attitude of top Nigerian artistes and industry colleagues in forwarding their vocals to her for necessary mixing and mastery.
She blasted her industry colleagues for refusing to send in their vocals early enough after she had reached out to them and they initially agreed to be a part of her new project.
Recall she had hinted on how long she’s been waiting when she made a post about a week ago which she captioned; “Me waiting for artists to send their vocals in so I can submit my EP!”
Two days after making the above post, the ‘Gelato’ crooner tell her fans the reason for the delay and indirectly reminded her colleagues again, saying: “My EP deadline fast-approaching and some of your FAVE artists are yet to send in vocals!”
And when Cuppy got tired of waiting, she took to her twitter again and wrote, this time in tone that suggested she’s already disappointed at her industry friends. She said: “I need to stop relying on “industry friends”… This whole #OrginalCopy process has taught me ALOT ”
