Former Big Brother Titans housemate and reality television star Thabang Mazibuko has declined money offered to him by his supporters and KhoBang shippers.
Thabang rejected the gift on the basis that people who are desperately in need may have to have them because he’s very much okay with what he has for himself.
This was revealed through an email sent to his head supporter Boitumelo after he received a mail from them asking him to fix a date for the presentation of the gift.
Thabang suggested in his reply that all the proceeds be sent to a charity, precisely Abraham Kriel. And according to a source, it was R100,000 cash gift that supporters wanted to give the Big Brother Titans star.
Thabang’s reply reads below;
“Good day Boitumelo, Thank you for reaching out. I appreciate the efforts you, together with your community, have put into raising these funds.
“Unfortunately, I am not available due to varying factors outside my control. I’ve taken some time to think about your previous communication and came to the conclusion that, given the many things that have transpired since my time in the house, I would like to express that, although I greatly appreciate the gesture. I am not, necessarily, comfortable accepting the gift.
“Therefore, I would like to, humbly, decline and would like to request that you donate them to a NPO, Such as Abraham Kriel, to try to benefit someone in desperate need of the money.
“I would also like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and extend my sincerest gratitude. I hope you will understand.
