Singer Sky B is not dead, he pulled a stunt to promote new song

Nigeria music act, popularly known as Sky B who was reported dead on October 8, 2019 has come out to say he’s alive, he didn’t die.

The “Pray For Me” crooner shared a post on his social media, Instagram on Wednesday, October 8 saying he didn’t actually die.

According to him, he died in a movie he was involved in Owerri, Imo State and not in the real life.

He went on to say that after acting the movie, he had an emergency which led him to the hospital and in the hospital, he updated his WhatsApp status telling his friends to pray for his quick recovery.

On coming out from the hospital the next day, he was shocked to see that the news about his death is everywhere.

He however, apologizes to his fans, friends and well-wishers and pleads with them not to post about his death anymore. He rather wants his music to be shared.

His instagram post reads:

“@its_skyb The rumor about my death started after acting a movie last week in Owerri, I died in the movie not in real life. The main one that hit the net was the one that happened yesterday around 2:30am I had an emergency which I was taken to the hospital and I called a few friends to pray for me and I updated on my status that I was critically ill and needed prayers only for me to come out after hours of taking drip to hear about my death rumor everywhere. I was shocked at first but, now I thank God today that I didn’t die and I can’t die and please let no one post anything about my death.  Please I beg you to post about my music not about my death. I apologize to everyone who was hurt and to people who cared about me and also I apologize to my greatest fans home and abroad who called tirelessly and messaged to get facts. Please SkyB is strong now and ready to perform anywhere on any stage and dropping new songs too. I’m back fully with earth and water.”

Well, it seems Nigeria music stars pull death stunts in order to promote their music. Recall former Five Star Music singer, Skiibii in August, 2015 faked his death to promote his then-new song.
