A good day for young Nigerian singer and rapper born Divine Ikubor, and professionally known as REMA.
He was complimented on social media, Twitter by South African award winning rap star, Nasty C.
In a tweet shared by the SA rapper, he says “REMA is hard”.
This however spurs up some admiration from the “Strings and Blings” crooner as it’s assumed he follows REMA’s style of music.
REMA however responded to the tweet saying, “We take Africa to the next level”
Meanwhile, the 19-year-old REMA came into limelight in 2019 when he signed record deal with label, Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records.
Since then, REMA has been active with release of hit songs. For instance, his first single, IRON MAN off the first studio album, REMA appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.
His latest body of work includes BAD COMMANDO MIXTAPE which has the hit song LADY as one of the songs.
