Tekno discloses how he battled sickness for months

The dance hall artiste and “Pana” crooner Tekno has disclosed how he battled sickness for eight months.

He shared his predicament while on an interview with a popular On Air Personality, Daddy Freeze.

He explained that he battled the illness after he lost his voice at a show in Ghana where he performed alongside Davido and Wizkid.

He narrated how he went from doctor to doctor who after checking him, reports that it was nothing serious.


The situation got worse to the extent that he was told not to talk for days. He noted; “I couldn’t sing, I couldn’t talk, sometimes they tell me to stay quiet for a week.”
He went to the United Kingdom then later US where he found a doctor who could help me. He underwent a surgery where the condition was corrected.

The singer narrated how he lost a lot of money in hospitals and even shows and contract he couldn’t fulfill.

He stated the people had speculation that the ailments was beyond the ordinary as some persons reasoned that it was a spiritual attack from his formal record label boss Ubi Franklin and Iyanya.

He noted that someone even told him to buy three machetes and a goat for rituals since the condition was out of hand.

He briefly spoke on doing the Beyoncé’s project which he had to do, weeks after his surgery.

He as well stated that through his months of illness there was no work, not records, and no performance.
