– It’s roughly 48 hours Beyoncé released her World compilation album, The Lion King: The Gift.
An album least expected from a Queen like Bey at this moment of the year. And unforeseen, how great the album was going to be.
Who Run The World??? Girls, answered Queen Bey. The Lion King album says it all.
The album features many super talented stars from especially African Continent like Nigeria, South Africa, Cameroon. And artistes include, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Tekno among others.
However, one song from the album stands out and that’s Brown Skin Girl. A song dedicated to the hardworking black girl like Lupita Nyongo, Naomi Campbell.
Beyoncé sings,… Pose like a trophy when Naomis walk in…She need an Oscar for that pretty dark skin…Pretty like Lupita when the cameras close in…Drip broke the levee when my Kellys roll in… What a breathtaking piece of music.
Lupita has gone on her twitter page to tender her appreciation to Beyoncé for this wonderful gift…
All around the world, people seem to also appreciate this song as most reactions state a clearer view on its acceptance…
Sure how great the album has become… Hoping to be more appreciated with awards like Grammy. Let’s keep our eyes glued.
