• Boma was left with more time, during his recent interview, where he explained that when he talks about script, it doesn’t actually mean holding a pen and paper.
Ex-Big Brother Naija season 6, Shine Ya Eye star, and ex-housemate, Boma Martins Akpore, has given more explanation on what he meant by saying that his intimate moment with co-housemate, Tega Dominic was a script.
Boma, during his recent one-on-one interaction with media personality, Chude Jideonwo said that not everyone can allow people to see their reality, in an open space like BBNaija show.
Even though he’s an actor, he had gone intimate with people’s wives, girlfriends, which didn’t involve sex, during his acting career, and he wouldn’t continue to explain to people what happened between him and Tega, because he’s very sure they didn’t have sex in Big Brother House.
Describing what he meant by script, Boma stated that script doesn’t mean getting pen and paper to write down something. It could be something like, telling him to do something and he goes ahead to do it. It only comes, premeditated.
Boma said, “I’ve been on set and I’ve done the same actions or even worse than that. Not sex because I didn’t have sex with Tega, but I’ve kissed, I’ve romanced people, I’ve played romantic scenes with people’s wives and people’s girlfriends or whoever they were. I’m not the casting director. I didn’t choose who to be my partner.
“You know, these are professional actors, I’m a professional actor. I’m a member of the screen actors guild of American federation, not a YouTube actor or something, no shades. But I do this professionally, it pays the bills.
“Now, there was camera right in front of me. I don’t know what people think, but, I’ve done the same exact actions. The things I’ve been paid thousands of dollars for. This same actions, I’ve been paid for that. And as soon as they say cut, everybody goes home to wherever they came from. That’s how I was looking at it.
“You could look up and you could just see cameras… If I look up here and I see cameras all around me, now you want to get my reality? Like, I don’t understand that.
“And when I say scripted, it doesn’t mean when you hold a pen and paper. Scripting can mean, oh! Boma, I’m going to say this, so, do this, that’s script. It didn’t come naturally, it was premeditated.
“And in the House, she was next to me all along. This is my bed, this was Jaypaul’s bed, and she took Jaypaul’s bed. She was there all along, first week, second week, third week.
“I won’t lie to you it was a show. That’s how someone that asked me when I left the show without me even knowing what was going on, and I said, the show is done. We are all going back to our families. I’m going back to my girl. (Chude asked, you have a girlfriend?)… he said, Oh yes, I have a girlfriend and nobody still knows. So, how private could one be?”
