Popular Nigerian Instagram comedian, Sydney Egere, better known as Sydney Talker has finally been tested for Covid-19 days after showing symptoms and calling on the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC to get him tested.
Sydney made this known on his verified Instagram handle, @sydneytalker, yesterday being Sunday, March 29, 2020.
It could be recalled that last week was really a bad one for Nigeria’s entertainment industry as Davido’s fiancée, Chioma tested positive to Covid-19 and with Sydney Talker raising alarm after showing almost all the symptoms of Coronavirus except fever.
Taking to his instagram account, he wrote:
“Hey guys Happy Sunday Everyone… Thanks to everyone for the genuine concern towards my health and I also want to specially appreciate the Lagos state government @jidesanwoolu, @lagosstategovt and @NCDCgov for reaching out as I have been tested and await my result this week. I’m currently stable and I will keep everyone updated on the progress with my health. I love you all and thanks so much for the show of love and care.”
