A very nice advise just came from one of the best Nigerian On Air Personalities, Chiamaka Favour Ojukwu popularly known as Honey Ojukwu.
She made a clear description of how people unknowingly invite depression into their lives and feel that someone has caused it.
According to Honey, people should desist from all the glitters on social media because that alone make them feel unaccepted. They feel unfavoured and bothered about what should have helped them grow.
The Enugu born presenter also reminds us that sometimes we think we’re not loved by others, but in actual sense, those persons adore us. The only solution she suggested was only for us to focus and be us, however, moisturize our souls with things that matter.

She wrote on Twitter;
(@thereal_honey_) Tweeted:
“Stop checking to see who has viewed your story. Stop deleting posts because they don’t have enough likes. Stop talking, listen. stop feeling embarrassed about things that make you feel happy. Stop thinking that accepting/loving yourself means your struck up.”
She continues on Instagram;
“As I was saying, This is how depression used to hold people! They will now be feeling people hate them but meanwhile they hate themselves but they don’t know.”
“Get up from that place of who likes your pictures and who views your videos to the place of who you are connecting to your own through how you love, connect and desire yourself your growth and your position on this earth.”
“Thank God for insights! Brands can now connect to you through that since you are worried about who likes and who doesn’t. I know people I stalk I would never like their pictures but I learn from them and I grow through them.”
“So stop worrying about all that. Some people don’t need to like you to your face for them to support you. Some people adore you but they will never like you. So stop being mad and focus on you and every other thing will work. Moisturize your soul with things that matter.”
