The 6th Edition of premium music award platform for African music in diaspora known as AFRICAN MUZIK MAGAZINE AWARDS (AFRIMMA) 2019 took place on Saturday, October 26 at The Bomb Factory, Canton Dallas, Texas.
There were live performances from some top African music superstars, Rema, Stonebwoy, Master KG, Zlatan, Phyno, among others, during the event.
Some of the winners for the night were Burna Boy, REMA, Toofan, Akothee, Phyno, Zlatan etc. REMA won the award for Video of the Year with the song Dumebi, while Zlatan won the award for Best New Act, Best Collaboration and Song of the Year. Burna Boy garnered the award for Song of the Year, Artiste of the Year and Best Collaboration.
