On February 17, 2026, a social media user identified as “the violently wicked” (@notralia) publicly accused BBNaija star Neo Akpofure of rape. The alleged incident occurred during their time at the University of Calabar (UNICAL). She also named Emmanuel Ante and Vincent Nwonah as perpetrators of separate sexual assaults.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Neo Akpofure faces heavy backlash after a woman detailed several accounts of alleged rape. The accuser, known as “the violently wicked (@notralia),” shared specific claims of non-consensual encounters involving the reality star and two other men on social media on February 17, 2026.
Disturbing details of alleged assault
The accuser sparked a massive debate on social media after she detailed her history with the reality star. She claimed they were once casual partners with a strict agreement that he remained single. According to her posts, she confronted him at his apartment after discovering he was dating a university official’s daughter.
”Neo Akpofure is also a rapist. he raped me in Unical, he should come out and deny it. we were casual sex buddies with the clause that he wasn’t in a relationship. i found out he was and went to his apartment to confront him. so he raped me.” The woman wrote.
The lady further described the physical nature of the alleged encounter to explain why she could not resist. She mentioned that her hair was pinned back and her hands were held down during the struggle. These revelations come amidst growing concerns about accountability, much like when Mr. Macaroni exposed a supporter for making false claims during a heated political season.
”my dear, it took years before i was able to do braids down my back, my hair was pinned and i couldn’t bite. he pinned my hands down. he was bigger.”
She declared.
Multiple names mentioned in viral thread
Akpofure was not the only individual named in the extensive series of posts. The woman also identified a man named Emmanuel Ante, also known as Dante, as a second rapist. She claimed Dante took advantage of her while she was asleep after previously promising to respect her boundaries.
”he raped me in my sleep after i told him No and he promised. i trusted him. no worry. i go dey name them. you cannot live a fulfilled life after destroying mine.” The accuser tweeted.
She ended her series of accusations by naming a third man, Vincent Nwonah. While she did not provide a long story for this claim, she alleged Nwonah also committed sexual assault. This situation follows a pattern of public call-outs in Nigeria, recalling when Innocent Megbolu received a jail sentence for rape after a lengthy legal battle.
Defiance against legal threats
Critics and followers warned the lady about the legal risks of making such heavy public claims without physical evidence. One user suggested that the BBNaija star could sue her for defamation. However, the accuser dismissed these warnings and expressed a preference for traditional justice systems instead.
”sue? no. make we go shrine swear, make who dey lie kpai.” The lady fired back.
She insisted that her primary goal is to release the pain she has carried for years. She claimed that the culture of shame often silences victims, and she is no longer afraid of the consequences. The accuser stated she is willing to face death if her claims are proven to be lies.
”i am said i’m willing to swear at the shrine of a no-nonsense goddess who delivers justice with death, if i am lying. i am ready to die for this sh—t you people think say na play ? i said if i am lying take my life? if he denies goddess go take am.” The star stated.
