Story Highlights
Solomon Buchi criticized the team behind iShowSpeed’s Nigeria trip on January 24, 2026. He praised the Benin Tourism Agency for a culturally rich tour while calling the Nigerian handlers “classless Lekki boys.” Buchi argued that legitimate creators like Tayo Aina should have guided the American streamer.

Life coach Solomon Buchi has expressed strong disapproval of the itinerary planned for American streamer iShowSpeed during his visit to Nigeria. The social commentator shared his thoughts on Instagram on January 24, 2026.
Buchi compared the Nigerian leg of the tour unfavorably to the streamer’s time in Benin Republic. He praised the Benin Tourism Agency for their professional approach.
According to Buchi, the Benin team “understood the assignment” perfectly. He noted that Speed experienced genuine culture through historic sites, dancers, and beaches.
Comparison of two tours
Buchi argued that the Nigerian experience lacked similar depth. He claimed the visit failed to showcase the country’s true assets.
He listed overlooked attractions such as caves, festivals, and resorts. The commentator felt these locations would have better represented Nigeria.
Instead, Buchi directed harsh words at the individuals guiding the streamer in Lagos. He described them as “classless Lekki boys” who hijacked the visit.
This criticism aligns with recent online discourse. Tensions rose recently after Tacha blasts cowards criticizing Peller during Speed’s visit video on social media.
Buchi went further in his assessment of the handlers. He referred to them as “yahoo boys disguised as celebrities.”
Better guides suggested
The life coach offered names of influencers who could have done a better job. He specifically mentioned Enioluwa and Tayo Aina.
He believes Enioluwa would have introduced Speed to authentic cultural meals. Food has been a major theme of the trip, especially as iShowSpeed sparks debate after rating Nigerian Jollof above Liberian rice in a recent viral clip.
Buchi also suggested Opeyemi as a guide for proper restaurants. He insisted that these creators would have provided a more polished experience.
The contrast between the two countries clearly frustrated the commentator. He stated that the Benin trip opened his eyes to that nation’s richness.
He concluded that whoever managed the Nigerian itinerary should feel ashamed. Buchi maintained that Nigeria deserves better representation on the global stage.
