Neighbours in Iyana Isashi face fresh fear today. A young man, Alex, also called Fleximore, is dead. Gunmen shot him close to his street on Friday night. He died in hospital on Wednesday.

The hit came a day after a club fight. Friends say the clash set off the sad chain. They think the killers came back for him. People in the area now want quick police work.
Witness shares how the attack happened
One local gives a clear, calm account. He asks to keep his name out for safety. He says Alex had just returned from work. He then stepped out again to meet a friend.
The same source says the attack was swift. “Two men rode up on a bike,” he says. “One pulled a gun and shot him close range.” People nearby heard the shot and ran there.
The man says they found Alex on the floor. Blood pooled round him as he gasped for air. “We rushed him to a hospital right away,” he adds. “Doctors began care as fast as they could.”
People also saw the riders try to flee. “They sped off on the bike through the street,” he says. “Folks shouted and ran, but could not catch them.” Fear and shock spread as news moved fast. For more recent city crime context, see our report on the Lagos necklace robbery arrest.
Club row linked to killing
A second neighbour, Quadri, shares more detail. He says the dead man used the name Fleximore. He adds that a club row came one day earlier. It happened inside a nightclub in the same area.
Quadri says the row involved strange men at the club. He believes the clash led to the street hit. He says the men may be from a cult group. Friends fear they tracked him to the street.
Doctors fought to save him for five hard days. He lay in a coma from Friday to Wednesday. “We lost him this morning,” the first source says. “They tried their best, but he did not make it.”
Alex lived at Cele Niza in Iyana Isashi. He worked, came home, then stepped out again. He was on his way to meet a friend. The bike riders stopped him and fired one shot.
