Billboard drops its Afrobeats list for all time. It puts ‘African Queen’ by 2Baba at one.

Fans split over ‘robbed’ claim

The singer wrote, “TERRY G robbed,” in a post. He replied to a Chart Data note on X.

Some fans back him and hail his wild run. Others say the picks feel fair and clear.

Debate grew as names and years filled the list. Yet many still rate his club hits so high.

Why ‘African Queen’ sits at number one

Billboard calls the song a key turn in sound. The track leads key songs in the genre.

Old hits like ‘Ijoya’ and ‘Dem Mama’ rank too. ‘Yahooze’ by Olu Maintain also makes the cut.

The Terry G hits that missed out

His big tracks do not show up on the roll. Fans cite ‘Akpako Master’ and ‘Free Madness’ first.

‘Run Mad’ also gets a loud nod from users. But no Terry G song lands a spot yet.

Last month, he drew heat over a Davido ask. Read our full report on that here now.

For now, he holds firm on his strong claim. We will track more views as stars weigh in.
