- The therapist demands proof of charges and calls the act “pure bullying.”
Relationship therapist Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has reacted strongly to the arrest of her partner, businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, aka IVD. She accused authorities of detaining him without evidence and described the action as “bullying and intimidation.”

In a lengthy post, Blessing CEO said IVD was being held at the Lagos airport without any formal charges after he was arrested while travelling to Qatar. She claimed no court order banned him from leaving the country.
“Show us the papers, stop the bullying” — Blessing CEO fumes
Blessing CEO questioned why IVD was arrested without official documents or statements filed. She said,
“Till now they are keeping IVD with no charges yet. How do you bundle someone since yesterday and not even a file of what he did? This is pure bullying.”
She further alleged that the situation was being manipulated, adding,
“Nobody asked IVD not to travel. If they did, why would he make it public? This is the same woman who wanted him dead manipulating the system.”
She insists IVD never broke any law
Blessing CEO defended IVD’s travel plans, explaining that he had no reason to flee Nigeria.
“IVD never jumped bail for three years of the ongoing case. Why would he run for a 10-day trip with a return ticket? There was no ban whatsoever on him.”
She argued the case was being used to intimidate him because of his gender, saying,
“Stop bullying IVD because he is a man. Stop intimidating him. Just because you could not take his life, you are doing everything to intimidate him.”
Ongoing drama sparks public debate
The arrest relates to the domestic violence case involving IVD’s late wife, Bimbo, who died in 2022. Blessing CEO accused unnamed individuals of using the case as a tool to keep IVD down.
She urged Lagos State authorities to step in before things “get messy,” warning that justice must be served fairly.
“This is injustice. They have bullied him for over three years. Lagos State, please come into this before it gets messy.”
Flashback to IVD’s arrest at Lagos airport
