Tiwa names new booking contact
Tiwa wrote that all shows must now go to Vanessa Amadi. She gave her email and said no other route will work.
“I do not work with Mekka anymore. Please for bookings contact Vanessa Amadi. Any bookings that go through any other channel will be void, and you will lose your money,” she warned.
She said she got a call that cash for a gig went to Mekka’s own bank. She told fans they would lose such pay as she will not take blame.
Singer vows to reject Mekka’s deals
Tiwa said she has no link with Mekka now. She vowed to turn down any job sent through him.
“Abeg e don do. I have NOTHING TO DO WITH MEKKA. Even if it goes through him and gets to me I will refuse the booking,” she wrote.
She said she hates to post such online but had no choice. She could not reach each host one by one.
This change ends an era as Mekka had run Tiwa’s work since 2014. He took charge after her split with her ex and past boss Tee Billz.
