Spotify has officially revealed its list of the top 30 Nigerian songs with the most global streams for the first half of 2025.

At the top of the list is Rema’s fan-favourite single ‘Baby (Is It A Crime)’, which has seen massive success worldwide. The smooth blend of Afrobeats and pop has made it a standout on international playlists.
Davido Claims Most Spots With ‘5ive’ Album Tracks
While Rema claimed the top spot, Davido led the chart in numbers. The Afrobeats superstar had nine songs from his ‘5ive’ album featured on the list.
One of the biggest among them is ‘With You’ featuring Omah Lay, which sits in the third position. Another song, ‘Be There Still’, also landed in the top 10. Fans across the globe continue to stream Davido’s tracks, making his album one of the most successful Nigerian releases this year.
Burna Boy and Shallipopi Bring Star Power
Burna Boy didn’t come quietly either. With five entries, he remains a strong global force in Afrobeats. His track ‘Tatata’ featuring American rapper Travis Scott ranked number five. Meanwhile, his joint track with Coldplay titled ‘We Pray’ and the solo jam ‘Update’ also earned top spots.
Shallipopi, another fan-favourite, made an impressive showing with ‘Laho’ at number two and ‘Zazaza’, a collaboration with Frenna, at number six. His second version of ‘Laho’, this time featuring Burna Boy, also made the top 10, proving his growing reach.

Other notable mentions include Chella’s emotional hit ‘My Darling’, which holds the fourth position. The presence of Nigerian artists on the global chart, including international collaborations, reflects how strongly Afrobeats continues to influence the world stage.
