Boosie Reacts to Diddy Verdict: “Race Played a Role”
Rapper Boosie Badazz has spoken up about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent court battle. Right after the court’s final decision, Boosie jumped on Instagram to share his thoughts. He said he believes the case reached such a serious level mainly because Diddy is Black.
Boosie didn’t hold back. He told fans that Diddy did something wrong, but not everything he was accused of. In Boosie’s words, “He guilty of some things, yeah. But they wanted to bury him!” He suggested that if Diddy were white, the system would have treated him more kindly.

“White America Would’ve Given Him a Pass”
Boosie stressed that powerful Black people often don’t get the benefit of doubt. “If he was white,” Boosie said, “they would have stood behind him.” He claimed Diddy wouldn’t have been pushed so hard in court if he had been a white celebrity.
He added that he’s seen this pattern many times before. According to Boosie, Black stars get hit harder by the legal system than others in similar situations.
Boosie Shifts Focus to Diddy’s Kids
While Boosie shared his opinion about the justice system, he also showed concern for Diddy’s family. He said his heart goes out to the rapper’s children, who had to watch their dad face a storm of public judgement.
“I feel for those kids,” Boosie said. “They had to live through all those headlines.”
On Wednesday, Diddy’s children were spotted leaving court with visible relief on their faces. The music mogul was found guilty of 2 out of 5 charges. Thankfully for him, the court dropped the 3 most serious ones, which could have led to life behind bars.

Now, Diddy faces up to 10 years for each of the 2 lesser charges.
Celebration Already Starting
Boosie isn’t the only one feeling some joy. Outside the courtroom, several of Diddy’s supporters were already celebrating. In a strange twist, some were even seen rubbing baby oil on their bodies as they danced in support of their icon.
For Boosie, the relief is clear. Even if he believes Diddy did wrong, he’s glad the Bad Boy star avoided the harshest punishment possible.
