Ned Nwoko Fires Back at Sowore Over Regina Daniels Scandal
Senator Ned Nwoko has responded strongly to Omoyele Sowore, who defended a young TikToker arrested for making claims about Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.
The man, known as Timothy Gabriel or Tumma, had posted online that Regina Daniels, Nwoko’s wife, was secretly dating someone in Abuja. He also claimed he had proof and dared them to sue him.

After that, the police arrested Tumma. This came after Ned Nwoko reportedly filed a complaint.
Sowore Raises Alarm Over Police Action
Sowore, a political activist and former presidential candidate, said the arrest was unfair. He said it was a clear case of the rich using power to silence regular people. He shared a long post on social media, giving details of what happened.
According to him, the police secretly got a 14-day detention order from a court. This was done without charging Tumma in front of a judge. Sowore said the court and police worked together behind closed doors.
Tumma’s Detention Sparks Protest
Sowore, along with Tumma’s lawyer, stopped the police from taking him to Keffi prison. They protested at the court and demanded fair treatment for the young man.
He said the court had no reason to jail Tumma because his offence was not serious. It was simply an insult directed at a public figure’s wife.

Sowore also claimed that Nwoko often tries to influence top officials to jail people who oppose him.
Nwoko Replies With Harsh Words
In a strong message, Ned Nwoko called both Sowore and Tumma “jobless” and “miscreants.”
He said Tumma asked to be taken to court, and now the case is in court. Nwoko promised to ensure the law takes its full course.

He added that no amount of online noise will stop the legal process. According to him, Tumma will face the punishment he deserves.
