Popular Nigerian comedian turned singer, Nasboi, has kicked off a unique and heartfelt mission across the country. He is travelling to all 36 states in Nigeria, kneeling in front of government buildings in each state for 36 straight days. Why? To get a music verse from one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, Davido.
Nasboi began this bold journey on Wednesday. He shared photos online showing himself kneeling outside the Osun State Government Secretariat.
Holding a placard in his hands, Nasboi looked determined and hopeful. He wrote in his Instagram post, “I will be kneeling across the 36 states for 36 days. I pray this dream comes to pass.”

The very next day, Thursday, he continued the tour by kneeling at the government house in Kano State. He asked fans to support him by tagging Davido in his posts every day.
A Plea From The Heart
Nasboi explained that this is more than just a stunt. He has spent the last five years mimicking Davido’s voice and style on social media. His aim was always to catch Davido’s attention and prove his love for music.
“I’ve done everything. I’ve imitated him for years, but I still haven’t gotten a verse from him,” Nasboi shared. “So I decided to kneel across Nigeria to show how serious I am.”
His fans online have shown mixed reactions. Some praised his dedication, while others said he shouldn’t beg for a verse. Still, Nasboi stays focused.
Fans Asked To Help
Nasboi wants people to help make his dream come true. Every day, he posts a new picture or video from a different state. He urges his followers to tag Davido and keep the pressure going.
He believes that with enough support, Davido will notice him and finally say yes to a collaboration. “Please just tag @davido every day when you see the post,” he wrote.
Many fans have taken up the call and are sharing his photos widely on Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter).
More Than Just Music
Nasboi’s kneeling tour shows how far he is willing to go for his dreams. It is a strong message about passion, persistence, and never giving up.

Though some may laugh or doubt him, he is using his platform to tell a bigger story. One of chasing your dreams, no matter how hard it gets.
He has promised to keep kneeling, one state at a time, until he reaches all 36 states. The question remains: will Davido finally respond?
