Zion Opens Up About His Relationship with Chinwe

In a recent conversation on the show “Big Brother Naija: No Loose Guard,” contestant Zion, who is 26 years old and part of the Zinwe pair, made a surprising revelation about his relationship with fellow contestant Chinwe, 30.

Zion admitted that Chinwe isn’t his ideal woman but disclosed that he is dating her because of the benefits he gets from the relationship.

Zion shared these thoughts during a chat with fellow housemate Fairme David of The Radicals pair on Thursday.

During the conversation, Zion explained that despite Chinwe not being his “spec,” she treats him better than his previous girlfriends who fit his ideal type.

Chinwe’s Qualities Win Zion Over

Zion began by praising Chinwe for her maturity and her role as the firstborn, responsible for taking care of her siblings, especially after the loss of their mother and their father’s remarriage.

He noted that Chinwe’s caring nature and her acts of service made a significant impact on him.

“She [Chinwe] is actually a matured lady. She is the firstborn, she takes care of her siblings. Her mother is late and her dad has remarried,” Zion said.

Zion elaborated on how Chinwe’s thoughtfulness and prayerfulness stood out to him. He highlighted her efforts to ensure he was comfortable when visiting her home, by cooking large meals and going out of her way to create a welcoming environment.

“Normally, I fit dey with girl, the girl no go ever know say or even ever ask say wetin me I dey do for living. I don hear her [Chinwe] dey pray for me sef, she dey send me prayer point. She’s very prayerful. All these qualities dey.”

Zion continued to describe the homely vibe Chinwe provides, saying, “When I go her house, she go cook nice food, food wey choke, like she go cook plenty. She go cook to make me stay the night sef because me I no want spend night for girl house. Anything I want, she go just make am, she even get cook wey go still come sometimes, still clean.”

A Reflection on Past Relationships

He then contrasted Chinwe’s behavior with his past relationships, adding that despite not being his ideal type, her qualities made him reconsider his preferences.

Zion pointed out that his previous relationships with women who fit his spec often lacked the substance and care that Chinwe provided.

“Na just the vibe of everything, na homely woman even if she no be my normal spec, na just the nyash be my spec normal. I come reason say I don dey with my spec plenty, dem no do like this.”

Fairme supported Zion’s reflections by mentioning that character and how a woman treats a man are more important than looks. Zion agreed, emphasizing the value of good treatment in a relationship.

Fairme: “Exactly, this one hits different. That’s why we tell women that it’s not just the looks, the character, how you treat the man matter most.”

Zion echoed Fairme’s sentiments, stating, “How you treat a man matters.”

The conversation also touched on generational differences in relationships, with Zion expressing that while some people from Generation Z might lack understanding, others are sensible.

Fairme: “The millennials are more experienced in all of that.”

Zion: “All these Gen Z, I don dey with Gen Z nau.”

Fairme: “Some of them still get sense sha.”

Zion: “Some Gen Z get sense, but I don dey with Gen Z wey no get sense. No be say she no get sense but na more stress.”

Adding to the revelations, Chinwe had earlier disclosed during a conflict with Zion that she had “sponsored” him to join the show.

This revelation adds an intriguing layer to their relationship dynamics and raises questions about the motivations and true feelings between the couple in the Big Brother Naija house.

With these confessions, viewers are left to ponder the real motives behind Zion’s relationship with Chinwe and what the future holds for them.
