Gossip blogs reported on Tuesday, February 17, that she had unfollowed her husband, Olakunle Churchill. Many fans worried this meant the couple had split up. This follows a similar time when Churchill dismissed marital crisis talk last year.
Meurer provides digital proof
In the clip, Meurer showed her Instagram app to the camera. She clicked on her husband’s profile to show she still follows him.
She also checked their shared activity to show they have followed each other since 2017. Meurer explained that she has no reason to unfollow her partner. She previously spoke out when she asserted her status as his wife last month.
”I have no reason to unfollow my husband. Thank you very much,” she said.
”I’m in this marriage because I want to be in this marriage. I’m being treated well, I am happy, and that’s on period,” she added.
The Lagos birthday visit
Meurer stated that Churchill is currently in Lagos for a special reason. He is there to celebrate his son’s birthday.
This visit comes after Churchill made peace with his ex-wife recently to co-parent effectively. Meurer said she wants to give her husband space to be with his child. She noted that it has been a long time since he saw the boy.
”He has to be with his son, he has to celebrate his son’s birthday. It’s been a very long time he hasn’t seen his baby, so it’s only right for me to give that space,” she noted.
Meurer ended the video by asking fans to stop spreading lies. She insisted that her home remains peaceful and stable.
