Story Highlights
Sex therapist Jaruma responded to Emeka Ike’s legal threats on January 18, 2026, by claiming God sent her to reconcile him with his estranged family. The influencer described their viral video as an anti-drug campaign and dismissed his insults, boasting of her wealth and high-profile connections instead.

Jaruma has fired back at Nollywood veteran Emeka Ike with a shocking mix of defense and unsolicited family advice following his public outburst. The controversial brand influencer took to Instagram to address the actor’s threats, framing herself as a peacemaker rather than a villain.
Emeka Ike had previously lashed out, threatening legal action and disowning the content featuring his son. Emeka Ike blasts Jaruma in a harsh statement, accusing her of exploiting Sean Michael Ike and ruining the young man’s academic future. Jaruma, however, refused to be cowed by the “E.I brand” and instead flipped the script to focus on the actor’s personal struggles.
The “God sent me” claim
The self-proclaimed “classiest brand in Nigeria” addressed the actor directly as “Daddy Emeka Ike.” She claimed that his son, Sean, tried to hide the extent of the family’s internal conflict from her. Jaruma alleged that Emeka Ike has been “publicly fighting” his wife and four children for over four years, a situation she believes requires divine intervention.
Jaruma insisted that her presence in their lives is not accidental. The influencer declared that “God sent me to reconcile u with ur family,” urging the actor to realize that life is too short for a 25-year feud with his “biological blood children.”
Defending the “Rehab” project
Beyond the family advice, Jaruma offered a surprising explanation for the controversial video. She described the production as part of a “Huge Government Project War Against Drug Abuse,” aimed at discouraging married women from using drugs to cope with cheating husbands.
This narrative contradicts the earlier perception when Jaruma confronts Emeka Ike’s son in a clip that appeared to be about on-screen intimacy boundaries. The influencer argued that she used her viral power to bring attention to the cause, stating that “everything Jaruma does must just go viral.”
Flaunting wealth and status
Jaruma also took time to dismantle Emeka Ike’s insults about her brand being “disgusting.” She described herself as a “refined exceptional diamond” who has moved past her youthful mistakes. To prove her standing, she listed her achievements, including hosting the Super Falcons with the “8th richest man in Nigeria” and her upcoming role hosting the Super Eagles.
The bold response ended with an invitation. Jaruma asked “Daddy Emeka” to attend her events and check out her house in Dubai, asserting that she is a “god damn hard working young lady” despite the “lies” blogs tell about her.
