Social critic VeryDarkMan (Martins Otse) has apologised for his plane fight. He clashed with comedian Mr Jollof (Freedom Atsepoyi) during a recent flight.

Both men are long time rivals who often trade words online. They were seen throwing punches inside a United Nigeria Airlines aircraft on Monday. Videos of their mid air fight video spread fast and drew wide anger.
In a fresh clip on Instagram, VDM said the clash was wrong. He spoke while seated with mock bandages wrapped round his head and arm.
VDM says he acted without thought
VDM said the fight should never have happened in the first place. He asked mothers, fathers, uncles and young fans to forgive him. The critic also apologised to the pilot and crew on the flight.
He noted that many people on board had urgent places to reach. Some, he said, could have been heading for treatment or key deals. He feared the delay might have cost them money, health or peace.
VDM accepted blame for the clash and called his actions careless. He said he did not like the man he saw in that video. In his words, he had behaved in a way that mocked his message.
Comic twist to a serious apology
The video showed him with a bandaged head and arm as if badly hurt. A man dressed like a doctor later stepped in to remove the wraps. The skit style touch drew laughs online yet kept his regret clear.
He stressed that his clash with Mr Jollof would not block travel again. VDM told fans he could only promise to avoid fights in public spaces. He hinted that any future showdown with the comedian would stay behind closed doors.
The apology comes as aviation chiefs study the clash and weigh next steps. The NCAA warns both men may face sanctions, as NCAA threat of legal steps shows.
