Key Points:
- Joseph Aloba files a fresh petition on October 3. He gives the Lagos Attorney General fourteen days to act.
- The petition leans on the coroner’s clear verdict from July. It names Omowunmi, Fisayo, Prime Boy, and more for roles.
- The verdict faults the nurse for unlawful medical work. It calls her actions “unlawful” and “reckless” in plain words.
Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, wants quick action in Lagos. He asks Lawal Pedro to file charges in two weeks. His team sent a petition on October three, 2025. The note says the court named people in July. It asks the state to charge them without delay.

Why the petition demands swift charges
Aloba speaks through his lawyer, Dr Wahab Shittu. He says time runs and public trust thins by the day. The lawyer adds that the state must file the case. He warns that justice may slip if they stall now.
The petition asks the Lagos Attorney General to act fast. It sets a firm fourteen-day window for clear steps. Shittu says the court already set out the faults. He stresses that no one has faced trial since July.
The filing cites the Ikorodu coroner’s inquest by Magistrate Adetayo Shotobi. It says that verdict named people for clear lapses. The list includes Omowunmi Aloba and Ogedengbe Fisayo. It also lists Prime Boy and others present that day.
What the coroner said in clear terms
The verdict faults the nurse, Ogedengbe Fisayo, for gross neglect. It says she gave shots without any medical check. The drugs were tetanus, paracetamol, and ceftriaxone that day. The court then called her actions “unlawful” and “reckless.”
It also faults Omowunmi for poor care at a hard time. As Mohbad’s closest person, she should have sought real help. The verdict says she let an uncertified nurse treat him. It says she should have called an ambulance or hospital.
Prime Boy and others stayed while Mohbad stayed in distress. The court says they should have rushed him to care. It says they failed to move him to a hospital. That delay, it adds, hurt his chance for quick help.
Shittu says those points make charges a clear need. He argues the verdict already drew a sharp path. He asks the state to file each case named there. He says the family only wants fair, firm justice.
The petition adds one more hard line for the state. If the state fails to act, they will seek a fiat. That fiat lets them prosecute for the state in court. They cite the Lagos criminal justice law for that step.
Public talk still burns on this sad loss. Fans still recall the stage rush clip from early September. A club sighting also stirred Sam Larry cold look buzz. Aloba says he will push on till justice comes. He vows not to rest until charges land.
The father ends with a calm, clear plea. He asks the law to do its work at once. He says the case matters to the whole country. He says his son’s name deserves clean, fast justice.
