Nigerian TikTok star Peller has cried out again. He says Lagos hit him with a huge tax. The amount, he says, is a ₦36 million bill.

He made the claim during a live stream. Singer Peruzzi joined the chat and pushed back hard. Fans watched the exchange in real time online.
Peller details Lagos tax bill of ₦36 million
He said the Lagos tax team sent a demand. He said the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service sent it. According to him, they want ₦36 million now. He said, “Taskforce said I should pay ₦36 million for tax.”
Later on, he added, “I just came into the limelight last year.” He also said, “I don’t have anything,” sounding quite hurt. However, the bill felt too high for him. Instead, he plans to resist any harsh, rushed payment.
Peruzzi urges payment and warns about jail risk
Peruzzi urged him to pay and move on. He asked tough questions during the live stream. Then he said, “Why have you not paid your taxes today?” He added, “Do you know you must pay tax as a Nigerian?”
After that, he pressed a clear money point. “Do you know how much I pay as tax?” Finally, he noted, “I will not say the amount here.” However, it is more than the bill they gave you.
Streamer blames bill on flaunts and TikTok income
Peller linked the demand to his flashy posts online. He said the state saw cars and cash on live. In addition, he revealed his TikTok income before. He thinks that move brought this heavy Lagos tax bill.
He also said the state never gifts on live. According to him, no support came from the government. However, fans send gifts and help him grow fast.
Peruzzi then urged him to seek more time. He advised Peller to plead and pay in instalments. Moreover, he warned that jail could follow unpaid tax bills.
Peller stood his ground and kept his stance. He said he makes money from social media only. “I make my money online, not in Nigeria,” he insisted.
In a recent ValidUpdates report, Peller called out Asisat Oshoala and the Super Falcons after a $100k bonus. He said they ignored him after that windfall.
