She resigns to chase her long-term dream
On Monday, August 5, her exit from TVC was made known.
The announcement came from TVC’s PR and Marketing lead, Edward Akintara. He said Morayo is leaving to chase a “long-held passion project.”
This project, he noted, is one she has built up for years.
Morayo’s final day on-air will be Thursday, August 29, 2025.
TVC hails her great impact
In the statement, Akintara praised her huge role.
He said, “Morayo’s choice to step down after 12 years is tied to her dream. She has always wanted to work on this passion project.”
TVC added that she left a big mark, not just on Your View, but across Nigeria.
“She touched lives on and off screen,” they shared. “Viewers at home will feel this change.”
Even though Morayo is leaving, the show will go on.
TVC ended the note with firm words:
“Our show stays strong. We will keep up the same value and depth our fans know and love.”
Morayo has not yet revealed her next move.
