Davido white wedding: Governor Adeleke flies to US for big event

He flew to the United States for the white wedding of his nephew, Davido.

Big family wedding ahead

Davido will wed his wife, Chioma, again this August 2025.

The event will hold in Miami, Florida.

Their first wedding was in Lagos on June 25, 2024.

That event had stars and top guests.

Spokesman speaks for Adeleke

Adeleke’s media aide, Olawale Rasheed, shared the news on Tuesday.

He said the governor flew out a few days ago on the family jet.

Rasheed said, “Governor Adeleke left Nigeria for the United States via the family’s private jet a few days ago for the wedding of the global music icon, his beloved nephew, David Adeleke.”

He added, “His Excellency is inviting the opposition party to join the event and share the joy. Those who can’t come may join online.”

Adeleke will return soon

Rasheed also said this is Adeleke’s first break since he became governor in November 2022.

He added, “The Governor has not gone on official vacation since then. This trip will be short.”

He said Prince Kola Adewusi, the deputy, is in charge of the state.

“The Governor is in touch with his deputy, who is running things while he is away,” Rasheed said.

Fans count down to August

Davido spoke about the wedding back in April.

He said in a radio chat, “I am doing my white wedding in Miami in August this year.”

Fans are now waiting for the big day.

Many say this will be the biggest wedding of 2025.
