Key Points:
- Dangote Group has shared a note on the crash. It says the case involves one of its trucks.
- Top staff and its insurance team went to Auchi. They met police and saw the hurt woman at hospital.
- The firm vows full care and fair cash help. It cites group rules and notes the date, 14 August.
Dangote Group has now made a public note. It speaks on the Phyna sister accident in Auchi. The firm says one truck from them was in it. It adds that its team met police at the site.

They went to Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital in Edo. They met the hurt woman, named Mrs Ruth Otabor. They say they will fund care and pay fair dues. They also wished her quick heal and full strength.
Dangote says it will fund care and compensation
The note reads that help will be full and firm. They wrote, “We will give full support for Mrs Otabor.” This means health care and fair pay, per group rules. It is signed “Management”, and dated 14 August, 2025.
Henshaw calls police for swift justice
Kate Henshaw had raised this case in a post. She said a Dangote truck hit the star’s young sister. She wrote, “Who owns the truck should own up now.” She tagged @PoliceNG and @BenHundeyin to press it.
Witness chased driver; police keep the truck
A witness, a lecturer, chased the driver who fled. Police then caught him and took him for notes. Henshaw said the plate was off the truck then. Police now keep the truck while they probe the case.
Phyna had called out Aliko Dangote in a post. She says the firm tries to shield those at fault. VeryDarkMan shared a clip from the ward and spoke. He also asked for a fair, fast and clear probe.
For now, many wait to see what steps come next. Earlier, we wrote how Kate Henshaw asked police for swift justice. That piece adds key backstory on this same sad case. Read it for more facts and quotes from that plea.
