Key Points:
- Sultana says some girls in the house act in ways she calls “dumb girl syndrome.”
- She claims Dede is smart but insecure, while Mide is the “instigator.”
- Koyin and Zita agreed with parts of her views during the Thursday night talk.
Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Sultana has stirred new drama after criticising fellow contestants Dede and Mide.

Speaking with Zita and Koyin on Thursday night, she said some female housemates have habits she calls “dumb girl syndrome.” She explained it as spotting behaviour that looks fine to them but is actually wrong.
Comparing the two
Zita guessed she meant narcissistic traits, but Sultana quickly disagreed. “Dumb girl syndrome — when you see a dumb girl syndrome, you know,” she said.
Sultana argued that Dede is smarter than Mide but said Mide is “the instigator.” She added that Dede had “some personality problems” when she came into the house.
“I feel like Mide is still trying to understand the kind of person she is. She is not Mide, Dede,” Sultana explained.
Who really controls things?
Koyin then said, “She understands herself.” Sultana replied that it’s one thing to know yourself and another to show it to others.
He noted that Dede “is not gonna show it,” to which Sultana responded, “That’s what I’m saying.”
Koyin later suggested, “It might actually be Dede that is controlling the whole thing,” and both Zita and Sultana agreed.
First impressions and doubts
Sultana recalled meeting Dede during medical checks. She described her entrance, saying Dede wore a wig and sunglasses. “In my mind, I’m like, who the f*ck is this?” she admitted.
Despite Dede’s confidence, Sultana said she still sees insecurity. “She is still insecure, she is paranoid and she is so obsessed with perfection,” Sultana claimed.
She ended by insisting that no matter what others think, Dede still has deep personal issues that shape her actions in the house.
This comes after other heated exchanges in the BBNaija house. As earlier reported by ValidUpdates, Zita and Mide clashed in the kitchen, fuelling ongoing house tensions.
