BBNaija 10/10: Kola and Doris clear the air over ‘miscommunication’ and friendship lines

BBNaija 10/10 housemates Kola and Doris had a candid conversation about a brewing mix-up in the house. Kola opened the chat by admitting he believed something had been lost in communication.

“First of all, in my opinion, maybe a miscommunication was passed along the line one way or the other. I thought all along she was aware,” Kola said.

Doris says she didn’t know anything

Doris quickly challenged him. “Aware about what? Why would I be aware of such a situation? What’s my business with that?”

Kola explained he had shared other details with her in confidence. “Because I yarned you also. I told you about the Dede… the arena situation. I told you about the Jay situation going on. It’s the same way. I thought me and her were guys. She was like my 5&6,” he said.

Doris countered with her own perspective. “You told me as a, ‘omg I thought we were friends and she embarrassed me in front of everybody.’ In your words, ‘you don’t like girls that are not smart.’ So in my mind I’m like, yeah well, she might not be able to hold a conversation. You never told me ‘I like her situation.’”

Kola says it’s not about liking anyone

Kola clarified his stance. “Because I cannot say I like her. Hold on, I don’t like anybody. We are still getting to know each other, right? If you are asking me if I am attracted to somebody, then that is a different question. I thought me and Doris had an understanding whereby we were guys,” he said.

Doris reminded him of their earlier banter. “Before we came downstairs, there was a conversation of ‘oh boring.’ You used the word boring. You said the vibe would be laughing and playing around, and I said ok. It’s not a big deal because I’m quick to detach from friends and things like that,” she said.

Sabrina gets mentioned

Kola compared his bond with Doris to another friendship in the house. “I put Doris and Sabrina in the same boat. These are my guys. Like I yarn with Sabrina too,” he said.

Doris laughed before adding, “Yeah and then you hold her hands. And then you sit next to her. And then you da da da…” Kola looked confused. “What do you mean?” he asked.
