Joy, in a detailed social media post, revealed she once admired Bam Bam’s soft and calm tone. She said it gave the actress a unique touch, especially in movies like Love in Every Word by Omoni Oboli. However, she claimed the style now feels too much and makes scenes “exhausting to watch.”

Critic says delivery feels forced

The critic stated Bam Bam’s tendency to drag out words now makes her scenes feel flat and tiring. According to Joy, she could not even finish one of Bam Bam’s latest movies because her tone became a distraction every time she appeared.

Joy wrote, “We loved your soft way of speech when it felt real. Now it feels like you are pushing it too far. If this keeps up, some of us may skip movies you are in, not for lack of talent but because of how your delivery affects the story.”

Fans react to the criticism

The comments have sparked mixed reactions online. Some fans agreed that Bam Bam’s calm tone now sounds staged, while others defended her, saying the style is part of her brand.

Bam Bam, born Oluwabamike Olawunmi, rose to fame from BBNaija’s Double Wahala season and later built a career in Nollywood. She is yet to respond to the critic’s remarks.

For now, movie lovers wait to see if Bam Bam will adjust her acting style or stick with the tone that made her stand out in the first place.
