Yinka Thesien Breaks Silence with Emotional Apology
Yinka Thesien, the former lover of Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, has come out to apologise for her earlier harsh comments about him.
In a new Instagram video, Yinka shared her regrets, saying she acted out of deep pain. She admitted that her words were hurtful and never meant to go public. She called on Linc to forgive her, saying she has let go of the past.

“Linc, I Am Sorry” — Yinka Opens Up
Speaking directly in the video, Yinka said, “Hello everyone, I decided to make this video to apologise to Linc. You know sometimes when we are hurting, we come from a place of pain. We say things we should not have said. I am guilty of it.”
She added, “I am not perfect. Linc, I am sorry in any way I have hurt you. Please find it in your heart to forgive me.”
She also warned that anyone speaking badly about Linc is not representing her. “Anybody spreading mean things about Linc is not acting on my behalf,” she said. “He is an awesome and kind man.”
She Previously Revealed Sensitive Family Info
In an older interview with Uche Maduagwu, Yinka had made troubling claims about Linc’s former wife, Amaka. She accused her of cheating and even shared some private family issues.
At the time, her words stirred anger online and raised questions about her real motives.
Fans React: “Start with Apologising to May”
Soon after her apology, social media exploded with mixed reactions.
One user, @floraben84, said, “You said you prayed for May, how do you pray for someone and come online to accuse her of all sorts of things?”
Another, @nahjuanatu, wrote, “She needs to apologise to May first. She did so much to her.”
@mummy_kaima didn’t seem convinced either. “She will delete this tomorrow and continue with the attack,” she said.
@jacintabae779 also dropped a harsh one: “Heartbreak wants to finish this one. She doesn’t see that attacking May is where her problems started.”
Meanwhile, @carolchintu simply said, “This woman is not okay at all.”
And @itsfyne questioned her logic, “It baffles me how people act up and then come up with ‘I have forgiven you.’ Na you do drama, na you dey forgive?”
Public Not Fully Convinced Yet
While Yinka’s apology seemed heartfelt, many online still feel she has more explaining to do—especially to Linc’s ex-wife, May.
Only time will tell if her peace message will truly heal the wounds she helped create.
