Key Points:
- Olivia Munn subtly praised Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife Mackenzie Scott after his $50M wedding.
- Munn previously slammed Lauren Sánchez’s Blue Origin space trip as “gluttonous.”
- Other celebs, including Charlize Theron and Rosanna Arquette, joined in on the criticism.
Munn Applauds Mackenzie Scott Amid Bezos’ Wedding Hype
Actress Olivia Munn appeared to throw subtle shade at Jeff Bezos and his new wife, Lauren Sánchez, just one day after their extravagant wedding in Venice, Italy.
On Saturday, Munn reacted to a post on Mia Farrow’s Instagram praising Bezos’ ex-wife, Mackenzie Scott. Farrow’s post celebrated Scott’s huge charitable contributions.

It read, “How awesome is MacKenzie Scott! (Jeff Bezos’ first wife & mother of his 4 children). As of mid-December 2024, she had given a total of $19.3 billion to over 1,600 charitable organisations.”
Munn, 44, dropped a short but telling comment: “Truly incredible.”
Other Stars Back Scott Over Bezos’ Glam Event
Munn wasn’t alone in celebrating Scott. Actress Rosanna Arquette also joined the praise, calling Scott “a force of humanity and good.”
Meanwhile, celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker, Katie Holmes and Mandy Moore hit the like button on Farrow’s post, showing subtle support.
However, not all stars were so subtle. Charlize Theron openly blasted the newlyweds. Her sharp remark? “They suck.”
So far, no one from Munn, Bezos, or Sánchez’s teams has commented on the reactions.

Munn’s Ongoing Criticism of Sánchez and Bezos
This wasn’t the first time Munn called out the couple. Back in April, she slammed Sánchez’s Blue Origin space flight on the “Today” show. She labelled the trip as “gluttonous,” adding, “There are so many other things that are so important in the world right now.”
She didn’t hold back, saying, “It’s so much money to go to space, and there’s a lot of people who can’t even afford eggs.”
Other stars joined in the criticism back then. Olivia Wilde joked about billionaires and memes. Amy Schumer made fun of the items the crew brought into space. Emily Ratajkowski called the flight “disgusting” and criticised the company behind it for “destroying the planet.”
A Tale of Two Very Different Weddings
Munn herself tied the knot just months before, in July 2024, to comedian John Mulaney. Their wedding was a quiet event at a friend’s house in New York. It had just their son Malcolm, a witness, and Sam Waterston as officiant.

Bezos and Sánchez’s wedding, in contrast, screamed luxury. The $50 million celebration in Venice was packed with big names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian, and Sydney Sweeney.
