Anthonia Umerah Tells Women: “Try Another Amu If You Want a Child”
Nigerian media personality Anthonia Umerah has sparked massive debate online with a bold message to women struggling to conceive.
In a recent Facebook post, she advised women who’ve been trying to get pregnant for years to “try another pr*ck” if their husband hasn’t made it happen. According to her, the issue might be the man — not the woman.

“Your husband may be the issue. Don’t allow him hold you back from having your own child,” Umerah wrote.
She stressed that women should not waste their limited fertile years waiting for a man who might not be able to father a child. Umerah added, “Women have limited fertile years unlike men! Do it while you can before you enter men0pause.”
“Cheat If You Must, Men Do It Too,” She Says
The controversial post went even further. Anthonia said cheating is already normalised in society — especially when men do it. She encouraged women to prioritise motherhood by any means necessary.
“Men ch£at on their wives daily and society sees it as normal,” she wrote. “If trying another amu will give you a child… cheat and have your own child sis.”
She insisted that the advice might anger many men, but “it is what it is.” Her message was clear: women should stop waiting and start acting before their window closes.
“Put Yourself First,” Umerah Tells Women
Anthonia didn’t hold back. She told women to put themselves and their dreams of becoming a mother first. She reminded them that if the roles were reversed, men would not hesitate to seek out another woman.
“Your husband will not even hesitate to try another woman if you are the issue,” she stated. “Men always put themselves first!”
Her comments have stirred strong reactions, with many women praising her boldness while others called it inappropriate. Still, Umerah stands firm on her message: don’t let your time run out because of loyalty to a man who might be the problem.
