Florida Rapper Hotboii Arrested After Entering School Grounds With Gun
Florida rapper Hotboii is in trouble with the law once again after being arrested in the early hours of Wednesday, July 10.
Police say the rapper jumped a fence and entered the parking lot of Doral International Academy of Math and Science in Florida.
The incident happened around 3:40 AM, when the City of Doral police received a call about two suspicious men running around the school’s property.
Caught On Camera With Suspicious Bag
According to the police report obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, officers quickly responded and spotted one of the suspects — Hotboii — climbing the south-end fence of the school.
Later, security cameras captured him throwing a black Carhartt bag over another fence. That fence led to a high-end residential area next to the school.
When police checked the bag, they found a loaded black Glock 45 9mm pistol inside.
Previous Jail Time and Probation Issues
Things got worse when police ran a background check.
It showed that Hotboii, real name Javarri Latre Walker, is a convicted person with felony convictions currently on probation.
Because of that, he is not allowed to carry any guns or bullets.
New Charges Could Affect His Music Plans
Hotboii was taken to jail and officially charged with carrying a gun and bullets while on probation, plus trespassing on school property.
This isn’t the first time he’s been in trouble.
He had already served three years in prison after being linked to a RICO case. He was also detained briefly in February this year.
Hotboii had been teasing the release of a new music project in 2024.
But for now, it seems his legal problems will delay any plans he had.
