Key Points:
- Diddy cleared of racketeering and sex trafficking allegations in federal court.
- He was found guilty of transporting women for prostitution under the Mann Act.
- The jury reached its final decision after two full days of deliberation.
Diddy Beats Major Charges in Court
Sean “Diddy” Combs has just been cleared of the biggest charges in his high-profile federal criminal case.
The 54-year-old music mogul was found not guilty on three of five counts, including racketeering and sex trafficking of Cassie and Jane, two key alleged victims.

However, the jury convicted him on count 3 and count 5, both tied to transportation for prostitution purposes, commonly known under the Mann Act. Each of those carries a maximum sentence of 10 years, meaning Diddy could face up to 20 years in prison.
Jury Delivers Final Verdict
On Wednesday morning, jurors returned to court and informed Judge Arun Subramanian that they had reached a final decision.
This came just an hour after they entered the jury room.
The case involved a 12-person jury made up of 8 men and 4 women, who spent two full days deliberating before giving their verdict.
Deliberation Faced a Brief Hold-Up
Earlier on Tuesday, the jury had sent word that they had reached decisions on four counts, but couldn’t agree on the RICO charge.
The judge instructed them to keep going. By Wednesday, they had fully agreed and delivered the final result.
Prosecution Called 34 Witnesses
The trial ran for almost seven weeks and featured 34 witnesses — all from the prosecution.

Diddy’s legal team, however, chose not to call any witnesses, including Diddy himself. They argued the government failed to prove anything beyond doubt, and stuck with that line throughout.
Trump May Still Step In
Although Diddy now faces sentencing for two serious offences, he may have a lifeline.
Former President Donald Trump recently said he would consider granting Diddy a pardon if asked.
That option remains open, though no official move has been made.
