VDM Releases Alleged Audio of Zlatan and Sam Larry
Popular Nigerian activist and influencer, Vincent Otse Martins, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has sparked another wave of controversy after releasing a voice note that allegedly captures a conversation between music promoter Sam Larry and rapper Zlatan Ibile.

The audio, now trending online, appears to have been recorded shortly after the tragic passing of late singer Mohbad.
In the clip, Zlatan reportedly speaks in Yoruba, distancing himself from the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death. He explained that public reactions on social media often come with chaos, so he chose to stay quiet to avoid drama.
VeryDarkMan Gives Zlatan 48 Hours to Speak Up
Posting the recording on Instagram, VDM didn’t hold back. He gave Zlatan a 48-hour deadline to publicly explain why he remained silent when calls for justice filled the internet.
“I am going to be playing a voice recording between Zlatan and Sam Larry, during the time Mohbad died,” he said. “Now I expect in 48 hours, Zlatan will come out to explain what he knows and why he did not speak out when we were seeking justice.”
“You All Moved On Too Quickly” – VDM Blasts Critics
Reacting to backlash over why he reopened the case, VeryDarkMan slammed critics who accused him of chasing clout. He argued that most people have abandoned Mohbad’s cause and that’s exactly the problem.
“I deliberately brought this case back because I see a lot of you have moved on,” he said. “That is why our government cannot take us seriously — we are too quick to move on.”

He also pointed out that Mohbad hasn’t even been buried, yet many fans and celebrities are acting like it’s all in the past.
Accuses Zlatan and Others of Knowing the Truth
VeryDarkMan didn’t mince words when he accused some people of knowing the full truth behind Mohbad’s tragic death. According to him, intimidation and bullying were used to distract the public.
He added, “Some people knew the truth. They distracted everybody and used bullying to cover it up. And you Zlatan, you kept quiet.”
The activist concluded by saying he would not stop until justice is served. “I don start that case again. Anybody wey no like am, make e enter bush.
You are not real if you ask why I brought back the case again,” he said. “You all are fake, a lot of you are fake.”

Mixed Reactions Trail the Audio
Meanwhile, reactions have poured in online. While some users defended Zlatan’s silence, saying he may have had valid reasons, others urged him to finally speak up.
As the deadline ticks, fans now wait to see if Zlatan Ibile will break his silence — or let the storm grow even louder.
