Kiddwaya under fire after donation request
Activist Verydarkman has slammed reality TV star Kiddwaya. He criticised him for asking Nigerians to donate to victims of the recent Benue attack.
Kiddwaya had posted a call for donations to support people in Yelewata, Benue State. The post followed the June 15 attack. But it drew strong backlash from the public and was quickly deleted.

‘You brag but ask people for money’ – Verydarkman
In a video, Verydarkman questioned Kiddwaya’s motive. He asked why a billionaire’s son would seek public donations instead of helping directly.
He pointed out that Kiddwaya often brags about his rich lifestyle. Yet, in a moment of crisis, he asked ordinary people to give money.
Verydarkman partly said: “The first thing you do, you just write one message and drop account number. How will you know what the Benue people need when you never go there? I’m happy Nigerians dragged you to the point you had to delete it. You always brag about your money, acting like you are better than everyone.”
Activist says Kiddwaya should lead by example
Verydarkman also said Kiddwaya should have visited the victims. He could then understand their real needs before asking for help.

He added that people who show off their wealth should give, not beg. To him, Kiddwaya missed a chance to show real leadership.
