Key Points:
- Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez visited Venice’s famous Harry’s Bar after their lavish wedding.
- The couple dined privately with guests like Usher and Tommy Hilfiger.
- Security was tight as they also booked out top luxury hotels in Venice.
First Public Appearance as Couple
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez have made their first public outing since saying “I do.” The newly married couple were spotted at the historic Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy.
They arrived through the nearby Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal, waving to people eating on the terrace. A source said, “Harry’s doesn’t have a water taxi drop-off, so they had to be dropped off at the hotel across the street and make their way through.”

Harry’s Bar is world-famous. It’s the birthplace of the Bellini and a favourite of stars like George Clooney and Ernest Hemingway. But on this day, it shut its doors to regular guests — all to host Jeff, Lauren, and their celebrity friends.
Star Guests and Private Setting
The couple enjoyed a quiet lunch with big names like Usher and fashion icon Tommy Hilfiger. However, restaurant staff refused to share details.
The bar reopened to the public by 9 p.m. local time. Meanwhile, owner Arrigo Cipriani defended the couple’s visit. Speaking to Corriere della Sera, he said, “Bezos is a private individual who has come here to get married. I can’t see any problem with that. Venice is Venice, and this event won’t change anything.”
Luxury Wedding with Tight Security
Security was tight across all venues during the celebration. Apart from Harry’s Bar, Jeff and Lauren also booked two top hotels — the Aman and Gritti Palace.

Some guests who had booked the Aman hotel months earlier were moved to the nearby St. Regis. Aman handled the changes and covered the cost of the stay.
Inside the Fairytale Ceremony
Jeff, 61, and Lauren, 55, exchanged vows on Friday night at San Giorgio Maggiore. The ceremony was intimate but glamorous, with performances by Matteo Bocelli and pop star Ellie Goulding.

Star guests included Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Barry Diller, Huma Abedin, and comedy couple Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld.
“It’s been a fairytale,” a source shared. “Warm, intimate, full of love.”
