Dj Flo Opens Up on Rift With Rhuthee
BBNaija No Loose Guard housemate, DJ Flo, has shared the real reason her 10-year friendship with Ruthie ended.
She spoke openly during the BBNaija reunion episode, which started airing on June 23, 2025. Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked her why things went sour between them.
In her reply, DJ Flo explained that she could no longer continue the friendship. This was mainly because she doesn’t like fighting, especially not on social media.

“I Don’t Do Fights Online,” Says DJ Flo
DJ Flo told Ebuka that before going on the show, she and Ruthie had spoken about this. Ruthie knew she would never jump into online fights, even if people insulted her or her friends.
She said, “You know me. Even if they drag me, I won’t reply, not to talk of someone else. It’s not my fight.”
She explained that this was not a new thing. Rhuthee had always known that DJ Flo avoided drama.
Interview Was the Final Blow
What really hurt DJ Flo was an interview Rhuthee did after the show. In the interview, Rhuthee made comments about her that she didn’t expect.
DJ Flo said the interview opened her eyes. It helped her understand that their friendship had truly ended.
She said, “When I saw that interview, I knew it was time to move on. It was clear she wasn’t good for my energy anymore.”
DJ Flo Chooses Peace Over Friendship
Even though the two had been friends for 10 years, DJ Flo believes friendships can end—and that’s okay.

She still cares for Rhuthee but has made peace with walking away. According to her, not everyone is meant to stay in your life forever.
DJ Flo ended by saying she holds no regret, but she believes the BBNaija show only proved that their friendship had run its course.
