Former Big Brother Naija star, Anita, has responded to the recent buzz surrounding her past relationship with fellow housemate, Topher.

However, Anita has now broken her silence. In a heartfelt Snapchat message, she explained that the relationship was real and driven by emotion. But like many things in life, it simply didn’t work out.
“We Gave It a Chance, But It Didn’t Work”
Anita opened up, saying, “When I left the Big Brother house, there was real curiosity around our relationship. And that curiosity was valid. We did give it a chance but as with many things in life, some things work and some things don’t.”
She continued, “There was no deception, no manipulation, and certainly no performance for benefits.”
Anita stressed that she always acts with honesty, even when things get uncomfortable. According to her, anyone who knows her story knows that she doesn’t pretend to gain favour.
“I Will Never Play With People’s Loyalty”
Responding directly to those who accused her of using the relationship for selfish gain, Anita said the claims were “hurtful and incorrect.”
She firmly stated, “I’ve never asked for support under false pretences. My name, my work ethic, and my values are non-negotiable, and I protect them fiercely.”
To her loyal fans and even critics, she sent a clear message: “Your feelings are valid and matter to me. But I will always choose transparency over performance, and I will never play with the love or loyalty of the people who hold me up.”
