Angela revealed that she has never been denied a visa. She especially praised her easy access to the United States, where she has travelled many times. However, she also made it clear that despite her love for travelling, she does not plan to live outside Nigeria.

She wrote, “If I tell you I have never been rejected a visa before, will you believe?” She added that she loves being an American citizen, but she enjoys returning home to Nigeria.

Proud of Her Nigerian Passport

Angela shared that she often travels with her Nigerian passport and enjoys doing so. She said that even though immigration officers sometimes single her out when they see her passport, they let her go after checking her travel history.

She explained, “When they see my Naija passport, they sometimes ask me to step aside. But once they check it, they ask me to go.”

She encouraged Nigerians not to feel ashamed of their passport. She said that having many stamps in it can help show your credibility at foreign borders.

Message to New Travellers

Angela also had a word for people who recently started travelling abroad. She advised them to stay calm and take life one step at a time. She noted that some people may get excited and show off on social media, but it’s better to stay humble.

“There are people who travel more than I do,” she said. “So just relax and enjoy the process.”

Angela believes that people should not compare themselves with others. Everyone has their own journey, and progress comes with time.

Not Interested in Living Abroad

Even though she travels often and has the chance to live abroad, Angela prefers to stay in Nigeria. She said she enjoys the freedom of visiting any country she wants, but Nigeria will always be her home.

Her post was filled with pride, confidence, and advice for fellow Nigerians. She hopes her story will inspire others to travel wisely and humbly.
