Big Brother Naija All Stars Housemate and former Pepper Dem star Steve Ike Onyema clears himself from the allegations made against him by his colleague Angel.
Angel had accused Ike of body-shaming his ex-lover Mercy saying that she has a fake bum while their co-housemate Ilebaye has a real one.
Angel called Ike out on Saturday night after the night’s party and alleged that most of the side comments from Ike were against his ex-lover Mercy Eke.
Then, on Sunday night, Day 7 of the show, Ike and Mercy had a conversation during which Ike discloses to Mercy that he didn’t body-shame her over Ilebaye.
“Stop entertaining a conversation that has to do with me,” Mercy tells Ike.
Ike replies, “What did I say? I didn’t mention your name yesterday and I didn’t mention your body in the conversation.”
“You did,” Mercy doubts, and Ike asks, “ What did she [Angel] say I said?” Mercy answers, “That you prefer to have a real bum [Ilebaye] than a fake one [Mercy].
Ike confirms that he said something of that nature, but not in the context or words Angel believes it to be. He said, “Not in that words, what I said was, ‘You need to know who’s on your side for real and with fake,’ that’s what I said”.
Mercy reacts, “That’s when you started having problems with me. That’s when the whole thing started.”
Ike explains further, “I told Ilebaye that let it not just be about her, she doesn’t need to be between me and you. She now said that I do care about her so much, that I do check on her, and all the stuff. And I was like Okay, me and you are friends from the outside, you need to know what’s real and fake.”
Mercy tries hard to believe that Ike didn’t body-shame her, but Ike keeps proving that he didn’t and isn’t ready to have any issues with Mercy in the House.
