Big Brother Naija season 8 All Stars Housemate Mercy Eke has admitted to Big Brother that she feels like she was set up with the present of her ex-lover Ike Onyema in the show.
Mercy Eke opened up about her thoughts while in conversation with Biggie during her first diary session on Wednesday, Day 3 of the show.
Big Brother asked Mercy about her opinion of her colleagues, and she cleared that it was her greatest surprise seeing Ike in the House.
She also stressed that she feels like she was set up by the Big Brother organizer because she didn’t ever imagine seeing her ex in the same House with her ever again.
“Ike is the Housemate I was surprised to see. I feel like it was a setup but I will try to focus,” Mercy Eke told Biggie.
However, Big Brother suggested Mercy use the opportunity to squash every grievances and resentment she and Ike may have against each other.
“Don’t you see this as an opportunity to mend broken fences?” Biggie asked Mercy.
In her response, Mercy informed Biggie that she doesn’t have any grievances to fix with Ike, and as a matter of fact, she has been doing well for herself without Ike.
“Biggie, there’s no broken limb. I dey waka well,” Mercy replied Biggie.
Mercy and Ike’s relationship started in 2019 and ended in 2020 following irreconcilable differences and lots of accusations emanating from both parties.
