Nigerian reality television star and Big Brother Naija Lockdown ex-contestant Terseer Waya popularly known as Kiddwaya disclosed how his dad’s cleaner stole from him.
Kiddwaya noted in his words that the man in question hails from Benue State, Kiddwaya’s home State.
According to Kidd, who revealed this via Instagram Live stated that the cleaner built a house in Benue with the stolen money.
The reality TV star added that he’s not upset with the man building a house with the stolen money, because it’s what benefits him and his family. His only annoyance is that it’s always your people who get involved in such a punishable offense.
Kiddwaya’s words read; “I’ve got this cleaner in my house in Nigeria, Abuja. His name is Poe from Benue State because I like to hire people from my real State, you know to get them jobs and stuff like that.
“So, as my dad was traveling, obviously he keeps cash in the house, dollars as that. He realized dollars are missing, only for us to find out it was this guy from Benue, from my State, Poe, that has been stealing, for about a year, little by little.
“The guy stole enough money to build a house in his State. Now two things, I’m slightly impressed that he invested the money. It’s something that’s going to benefit him and his family. So, for that reason, I’m not upset. I’m actually slightly impressed.
“But what I’m annoyed about, that you heard about is that it really is your own people that do this to you.
“So guys, be very very careful, when you hire anybody from the State, be very careful. In fact, security in general just be very careful. Always make sure that you check in those who are coming in and out of the house.
“And by the way we found the money in his bag, in his trouser pocket. The money was in his trouser pocket. It’s crazy.
“But anyway I love my Benue people, of course, shout out to them. Not everyone is a thief but yeah, it’s crazy. Literally, we’ve been dealing with the situation the whole morning. But I can’t knock the guy for building a house, the country is hard, I get it”.
