Big Brother Naija Level Up Reunion kicked off on Monday, June 19, with its Day 2 show airing on Tuesday, June 20, as was prerecorded.
The regular host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu headed the show as the anchor and canvasser, who tosses questions at each Housemate in the quest for an answer.
The Day 2 of the show embodies the characters such as Daniella, Khalid, and Dotun. Sheggz, Bella, and Adekunle. Eloswag and Pharmsavi, ChiChi and Deji. Amaka and Diana. Phyna and Groovy.
Daniella, Khalid, and Dotun dissolve the triangle
Today’s episode of the Level Up Reunion started with Daniella and Khalid letting all that happened in the Big Brother House go. Daniella made it known that she and Khalid are on good terms at the moment despite what had happened.
Dotun on the other hand responded with absolute clarity that he and Daniella are good and have no issues anymore with each other, even though they didn’t get much time for each other while the Level Up show lasted.
To an extent, Daniella seems to have moved on with no bad blood leaving every matter behind. And this is the same with Khalid and Dotun.
ChiChi’s Cape Town squabble with Level Up squad
It was revealed in this episode that Chichi had issues with Level Up colleagues in Cape Town during the Pepsi-sponsored trip which resulted in some grievances being aired till their departure time to Nigeria.
However, Chichi was asked by the show anchor Ebuka who she had issues with in Cape Town, she denied having issues with any of her colleagues except Deji and wanted to go further but Ebuka had to cut her shut because Deji was not present to defend himself. In the subsequent episodes, Ebuka added, Deji will be available for the discussion.
Groovy triggers Phyna’s mood, Cape Town edition
The former besties, Groovy and Phyna altered the perspective of the night, as a result of their irreconcilable disparities.
Groovy was asked about his Cape Town experience, and he cheerfully answered that it was lit, owing to the fact it was his second time visiting the city. He was also asked about his relationship with colleagues during the vacation, he made it clear that he had fun with everybody.
Ebuka personalizes the experience, asking Groovy about his then-lover Phyna and how they connected in Cape Town, and he stated that Phyna is part of everybody with who he had a good time in Cape Town.
Coming to Phyna, Ebuka inquired about her experience, and she responded with her mood swing that she also had fun, even though Cape Town was cold and she couldn’t adapt to it. No Groovy-intended answer.
Doyin’s maturity
Doyin played a very mature script in the night, as she apologized for her wrongdoings both in and outside the show. She was given a round of applause for her uprightness.
Infamous Adekunle’s newsletter, Sheggz’s bluntness
While in Cape Town, Adekunle published a controversial newsletter that appeared like a subtle shade directed at his colleagues. The synopsis of the letter leans on Adekunle’s disclosure that some of his colleagues in Cape Town were showing off.
The letter at the time it was published on Adekunle’s Twitter page, connects the dots to Sheggz’s buoyant display through the very expensive Tequila drink known as Azul he bought in merriment with colleagues over there.
Adekunle was asked why he published the newsletter on that day, during the exact time. He said the letter was meant to troll his fans and not his colleagues. Sheggz and Bella couldn’t buy Adekunle’s defensive mechanism, as it was obvious the letter was a shade at Sheggz, for lavishly buying the Azul.
Diana “exposes” Amaka over Giddyfia, Eloswag, Deji, Groovy
Diana and Amaka seem to have not sorted things out concerning the escapades involving Giddyfia and Diana, as well as Amaka’s impulses towards some male Housemates. It would be recalled that during the show, Giddyfia was into Diana, while Amaka from Level 2 House, seemed very urged to have Giddyfia.
Meanwhile, Diana disclosed that Giddyfia was not the only one Amaka hinted at wanting to “connect” with. Deji, Eloswag, and Groovy were also on the list. Nevertheless, Amaka presented no valid response.
Pharmsavi’s grievance to Eloswag
This episode highlights the existing grudges between Pharmsavi and Eloswag following the outcome of the eviction nomination in the Level Up House. Eloswag as the then-head of the House directly contributed to Pharmsavi’s eviction.
The Head of House at the time nominated each Housemate meant for possible eviction using the suggested possible evictees from the members of the House. Pharmsavi, who was Eloswag’s buddy couldn’t believe he was chosen by him.
In reacting to this at the Reunion, Eloswag expressed remorse, saying that he wept when he saw that Pharmsavi has been evicted. He however confirmed that he didn’t take it personally with him during the nomination process.
