Emelogu Muruako Fortune popularly known as Ruffcoin Nwa Aba has fired back at his colleague, supposedly hater and rapper Speed Darlington, following criticism from the latter.
Speed Darlington had alleged that Ruffcoin, whose debut song “Nwa Aba” brought to limelight in 2008, is musically dead and doesn’t exist anymore.
Darlington made this opinion viral in a video, where he was seen mentioning some of the artistes whose music career is dead as a result of going into marriage and having children.
The rapper opined that more reason most Nigerian artistes opt for baby mama is because once you’re married with kids as an artiste, your career goes under the water immediately.
Speed stated that Ruffcoin is one of about five artistes he knows that got married, with kids at the moment, whose musical career is dead.

Days after Speed Darlingtonʼs video went viral on the Internet, Ruffcoin released a snippet of a song titled “God Did” in reply to Darlingtonʼs criticism over his music career.
In the song, Ruffcoin previewed part of Speed’s voice where he mocked Ruff and said “Nobody hears about Eriwa Agwuagwu again”. Recall that Eriwa is one of Ruffcoin’s hit songs.

Following the God Did preview, Speed Darlington returned on social media ordering Ruffcoin to take down his voice from the song. Speed insisted that it’s copyright infringement for Ruffcoin to use his voice on the song without prior written permission and consent.
Darlington pressured Ruffcoin to remove the voice from the song, and if he fails to obey his order, he would have to write to streaming platforms like Audiomack to take it down from the streaming sites.

However, it seemed like Ruffcoin didn’t obey Speed’s order. And this pushed Darlington to write to streaming stores like Audiomack to take down the song, citing copyright infringement.
On taking this step, Darlington returned in another video explaining his ordeal with the takedown request process. And according to him, he wrote severally to Audiomack telling them about the infringement but there was no feedback. It was after countless attempts to reach them that they finally responded and took the song down.

Then, after Audiomack took the song down from its platform, Darlington shared a video directly and ridiculously informing Ruffcoin that the song has been taken down from Audiomack.

Apparently, Ruffcoin noticed that his song isn’t on the Audiomack platform anymore, so he decided to take another step insuring that his song comes back to Audiomack, as well as other streaming platforms.
As at Saturday, February 18, Ruffcoin has shared a new snippet previewing a refixed version of the “God Did” song. In this latest version, Ruffcoin had to change the tone of the Speed’s critic voice, so as to not sound exactly like the original voice.
