Recently evicted Big Brother Titans season 1 Ziyakhala Wahala Housemate and reality television star Marvin Achi has shed more light on the beef he had with colleague Kanaga Jnr in the House.
Marvin, while speaking with BBTitans co-host Lawrence Maleka in a post-eviction interview said that after the incident with Kanaga Jnr, he understood that Kanaga was just playing his game, because Kanaga had told him from onset that game comes first.
Recall that when Kanaga Jnr and his partner Blue Aiva were Heads of House, during the live nomination’s Save and Replace veto power, Kanaga saved YeLisa (Yemi and Nelisa) and replaced them with MaYa (Marvin and Yaya).
Following this decision, Marvin continued to express anger and disappointment in Kanaga for putting him up for possible eviction despite both of them being cool from the first week.
However, Marvin confirmed during interview that he doesn’t hold grudges against Kanaga Jnr any more, because it’s clear Kanaga was focused on playing strategic game.
Marvin said, “No fault to Kanaga, because I understand that we all came into the game or experience with different strategies or different point of views.
“For me, and I came in to just be myself, I wanted to build like genuine connection to something that’s going to last outside of the House. I mean, completely forgetting about the game part, but even though there should be the game part. Unlike the Kanaga that continuously mentions that game comes first.
“I understand his own point of view, but just like my own point of view, because, that was my own game where I just wanted to build connections. I really thought like I would build a really strong connection.
“Kanaga is like my boy. When I and Yaya partnered up, I was like Yaya look, Kanaga is untouchable. And I put it out there, even though I don’t win this, even though I don’t go far, if Kanaga wins this, I’m happy, because that’s how I hold him up. We talked about what we were going to do outside of the House and all that.
“To me, because like I said, I just wanted to go in there and build connections, that’s why what Kanaga did (putting him and Yaya up for eviction) really got to me. But I understand his own point of view where he had like a game strategy, which I now understand that he’s having that game strategy.
Lawrence asked Marvin if Kanaga is still his boy despite putting him up, he said yes because, after the incident, he started realising that Kanaga was just playing his game and he’s very driven about his game and he’s going to go places with that.
