It’s barely seven days away before the premiere of the anticipated Big Brother Titans season 1. The countdown has officially begun.
The show which sees a mixture of young individuals from Africa’s most prominent nations, Nigeria and South Africa, simply referred to as Naija and Southy in one Biggie’s House is first of its kind.
Recall this show was announced days before the end of Big Brother Naija season 7 Level Up show in September 2022.
The show will see renowned BBNaija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu share the live stage with South Africa’s BBMzansi host Lawrence Maleka for 12 weeks.
Housemates, who are also known as the contestants will come from both nations Nigeria and South Africa. And the show equally features music performances from both Naija and Southy superstars.
While speaking about his excitement for the show, the Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe said, “BBTitans is a special edition of the widely loved Big Brother show that will have Nigerians and South Africans in one house.
“We can only imagine that there will be an explosion of entertainment and intense drama, unlike anything viewers have ever seen before.
“Imagine Afrobeats and Amapiano, the food, and everything else we’ll see in this edition. It promises an abundance of Nigerian and South African swag, banter, romance, and everything else.
“We believe this will be the most exciting Big Brother the planet has ever seen, and we are excited for the show to begin.”
The Flutterwave, Bamboo and Lotto Star-sponsored show will allow viewers to watch on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29 and will be able to vote via their MyDStv and MyGOtv Apps, as well as on Africa Magic website to keep their favourite contestants on the show.
